Rob Brown is the third of five generations of Browns who have worked the north central Texas R.A. Brown Ranch, a family business since 1895. The ranch began as a Hereford operation but became a leader worldwide in innovative cross and composite cattle breeding. The National Cattlemen’s Association named the R.A. Brown Ranch “Cattle Business of the Century” in 1998. As a result of also being a top breeder of Quarter Horses, Rob has served as a past president of the American Quarter Horse Association and been inducted into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame.
