Robert Josserand was president of ProChemco Cattle Co. when it merged under his leadership with AZL of Arizona in 1979. In partnership with others, Josserand bought AZL Cattle Co. in 1983, renamed it AzTx Cattle Co., moved the headquarters to Texas, and grew the company into the fifth-largest feedlot operation in the nation. Josserand devoted his career to improving the cattle industry, serving as past president of the Texas Cattle Feeders Association and the National Cattlemen’s Association as well as holding other leadership positions.
